This Thursday, DJ Ayres will be playing the first installment of the Classics Party, which pays homage to some of the greatest albums in the history of recorded music. Obviously, they're starting with Outkast's Aquemini. Says Ayres: "The idea is to play a classic album and the music which inspired it, along with the music inspired by it." If his Pimp Trick Gangsta Click Mixtape is any indication, the night will include everything from Rebirth Brass Band to 8Ball & MJG, which means duh, amazing Southern good times celebrating ingenious beats.
