Win Win is the new project from XXXchange and Devlin (of Devlin and Darko—Spankrock’s tour DJs). “Releaserpm” is its first single, it features Lizzi Bougatsos of Gang Gang Dance, and works as a sort of parallel to the direction GGD have been moving in since St. Dymphna was released. XXXchange has tapped into the deep-root weirdness of that record, but have made it leaner and focused over time. Also we’re pretty sure there are steel drums, or something approximating them, and that has literally never been a bad production choice in the history of recorded music (don’t hold us to that one, but you get the idea). There’s a full-length coming out soon that features guest vocals from Bougatsos as well as Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip and Andrew WK among others and we are stoked.
