Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy... The Chopped Not Slopped Version

November 29, 2010

Kanye West blessed New York and NBC audiences with an appropriately gangster version of "Lost In The World" during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade last week, but the above photo debunks reports that he was ice grilling children all the way down 7th Avenue. We actually heard he was giving away free media training to the Pedro Molina Latin Band, who came all the way from Guatemala and were a little too geeked up, to be honest. You don't need to give Matt Lauer your best, PMLB, just get that money. Speaking of getting money, we don't, so it was a nice Black Friday surprise to get some holiday bonus Kan-tent in the form of some Dark Twisted Fantasy interpretations. First in the form of a baile funk remix of the entire "Runaway" video (watch it after the jump), and then, even more rewardingly, with OG Ron C's "Chopped Not Slopped" version of the whole album. We might have listened to it more than the real thing over the weekend due to our turkey nap priorities. Yes, tryptophan is our promethazine, deal with it. Appropriately, the Houston screw legend and Swishahouse exec manages to make Kanye sound like Z-Ro.
