In a weird sort of way this song represents the entire coast of California, with Doey Rock Mean Doe Green from Sacramento, longtime Fresno representative Planet Asia, the Chef whose known to spend his fair share of time in Los Angeles, and the production sounds more like old Dr Dre than new Dr Dre does. Tracks like this, where guys who can occasionally phone it in suddenly sound inspired, turning in three memorable verses for no real reason other than that they really love weed, which is also very Californian of them. May Raekwon continue his current streak for as long as humanly possible. Check for another Rae spot on Green’s new album Mean Doe Green, and if you’re in San Francisco tonight you might see him pop onstage with Wu-Tang at Mezzanine.
