Design duo Shipley & Halmos took a road trip recently, zig zagging all over this great land, trying to meet as many of their customers face to face as possible. They’ve documented the faces with a book of portraits entitled “We’re An American _____“. This coffee-table keeper, the first under their new publishing handle S&H Publishers, is less concerned with making a statement about beauty or fashion than capturing the “individual spirit of their subjects”.
