This is How Killer Mike Looks When He is Satisfied

February 09, 2011

Ms. Rivercity, an Atlanta blogger by way of Jacksonville-Duval County in Florida, joined Killer Mike at Tree Sound Studios, the largest recording complex in Atlanta that also creates solar energy. She captured him previewing "Go Out On The Town," a relieving, night-riding song from Mike's forthcoming PL3DGE that features Young Jeezy. The girl with the leopard leggings is sipping a soda and bopping, so is everyone else in the studio. But Mike lets out a deserved guttural yell, is rapping along, making a sour face and cranking his motorcycle. In the scripted videos we've seen from Bigga recently, "Ghetto Extraordinary" and "Ready Set Go" he's pure evil, never scared. Without doubt Mike is one of the most audacious and confident men in rap, but he's acting well there, too. Here he's goofed, tongue is out for awhile. That kind of real pleasure is an essential part of dude's vibe, too, an important piece of righteous living in general. He's waving around a big bottle of top shelf Jose Cuervo Platino — all we're saying is that there's a bottle of the same stuff on the top shelf of our desk right now. May we be soul sisters always, Mike! Flip through his essential Black History Month facts over at Bossip, then after the jump, see Killa Kill "Swimming" in all sorts of Bugatti-bodied and face-painted women at the Cartoon Network video shoot for his new Flying Lotus-produced track. We're thankful that Mike's so happy with his output, real certain y'all will be too. PL3DGE coming to make your life better, April 19th!
