“Ghetto Extraordinary” is Killer Mike’s 12 Minute Version of “Runaway”

November 29, 2010

Killer Mike surprise dropped this 12 minute mini-movie by Breilhaus Entertainment and Jokes Films this weekend, continuing to do his part to assure fat country peoples everywhere that you can get rich without asking and have all the ass and the head as long as you don't interfere disagreeably with the particular southern men in charge. Mike plays a pretty convincing drug dealer exacting revenge, but this is less due to his hours-in at community theater practice than the fact that most scorned pushers are more reality-television than Omar Little level. Congratulations to SL Jones for his supporting role and standout monologue on how fucked up it is when someone snatches a sandwich right out of your hand. But straight faced, ya'll, the songs from his 2008 Ghetto Extraordinary tape in this tiny epic are incredible and even though the Dulce de Leche skinned skinny lady in it is not Selita Ebanks, we're ready and waiting for the release of PL3DGE, the next installment of Mike's longstanding Pledge series coming from Grind Time/Grand Hustle early next year. Bonus video preview of Mike and TI's new video for "Ready Set Go" after the jump!
