Detroit’s own recent Fools Gold signee Danny Brown is on his True Life flow with “Guitar Solo,” addressing the tragic young-poverty to pushing/pregnancy cycle in honest verse and well-acted visuals. These are serious matters made a little bit less so by the dude in a Seattle Mariners ball cap following Brown around, wailing on an unplugged electric guitar. But it’s a solid video for a more than solid song, one arguably made more compelling as the latest installment in the ongoing Danny Brown hairstyle saga. He’s an innovator in every regard.

One of my favorite rappers right now! This guy is representing hip hop the right way.
Cool rap! Love the Detroit reference. White boy with unplugged Les Paul look a like. 14 year old indeed!
