Last fall, in our FADER #69 feature on the tribal guarachero scene, producer/mentor Toy Selectah said this about Mexico's newest dance music: "[It's] in the hands of the DJs producing it, the whole industry circle hasn't hit yet. There aren't singers, there aren't rappers." Just about a year later, 3Ball MTY (Erick Rincon, Sheeqo Beat and DJ Otto) have put their music at least a little in the hands of a label, Latin Power Music, and released an official video for their future rave cumbia jam "Inténtalo (Me Prende)." It features muy joven vocalists El Bebeto and America Sierra. 3Ball MTY also scored dance troupe Los Parranderos for the shoot—they're wearing cyclops white plastic sunglasses and insane botas vaqueras exóticas, or pointy cowboy boots.
