"Besos al Aire" is the second big-budget video from 3BallMTY and their Latin Power Music labelmate América Sierra. It starts the same way as the video for breakout "Inténtalo," which topped the Billboard Latin Songs chart earlier this year. Erick Rincón, Sheeqo Beat and DJ Otto enter a club, welcomed by lots of flashbulbs. They're in suits, looking good (even the least-cute one is sooo cute), but less in their element than they seem later, DJing side by side in casual rave tees. Later, there's a lingerie runway show and back-up dancers in white parachute pants. América Sierra gets the majority of the camera time, but this doesn't feel like an imposition. 3BallMTY are dance producers, but, with singers out front, they're reinvigorating Mexico's rural, big-band onda grupera tradition, creating a new form of regional Mexican music, with bass standing in for the brass and ancient drums.
