“Dreamy” feels like the default adjective for Gem Club‘s “Breakers,” though at times the sensation’s more buried-under-covers entombment than whatever’s happening in your head. This perfectly-suited video directed by BriAnna Olson was shot in Iceland (trending!) and blurred like a summer rain puddle in a way that’s somehow both vibrant and dull, only shifting into perfect focus to usher in the muffled bell chimes that Gem Club cellist Kristen Drymala plays with her feet. It’s beautiful across the board. The Breakers LP comes out September 27th on Hardly Art.
