Brooklyn-via-Baltimore experimentalists Animal Collective, who haven’t released a full-length album since Merriweather Post Pavillion in 2009, have reportedly been hard at work. Recently, the band spent two weeks together in their hometown writing new material. They plan to begin recording in January. (via Pitchfork)
