Gunplay is the secret weapon of Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group. From 2008′s “How Ya Like Me Now” to his scene-stealing verse on the “Yacht Club (Remix)” to basically every track from this year’s Inglorious Bastards mixtape, Gunplay might never be a household name but he’s easily one of the most consistently entertaining rappers on the imprint. The title track from Gunplay’s upcoming Bogota tape isn’t his most lyrically-oriented, but the video does feature the rapper prowling around a rooster cage, embodying the spirit of all the coke-trafficking and snorting you’d expect from a Miami rapper who may have seen Scarface. As a bonus, download “Fuck Shit,” below. If the preview video for Bogota on Datpiff is accurate, this will make an appearance on the tape. It features one of Gunplay’s strongest verses: That’s why I beat up the beat and never let it breathe/ Ain’t no mercy for this verse, fuckin let it weep.
