Los Rakas and Northern California legend E-40 build a Bay Area bridge linking the new-and-global and the old school classic with “Pimpin Smokin Dro.” Los Rakas are known for their drive to bring reggaeton back to its roots, but this collab marks their deeper foray into rapping in English. “Pimpin Smokin Dro” will appear on their mixtape Panabay Twist 3, out later this year. To hold listeners over, they’ll drop an R&B-tinged EP, Raka Love, through their website on Valentine’s Day.
