The-Drum‘s remix of Jim-E Stack’s already-excited, shuffling “Come Between” dabbles with atmospheric patience before going full-on frantic, out-chaosing the original with tom-happy, scattershot drum patterns inspired by sounds from The-Drum’s hometown, Chicago. Refined chaos, of course, like shaking up the snow globe of dance music, where only the best parts of the genre make it to the miniature scene inside.
