Behind The Scenes: Danny Brown’s FADER #78 Cover Shoot

For Danny Brown’s FADER #78 cover photo, photographer Ross Mantle kept it close to home, near his apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. It was a chilly day out on his roof, but luckily, Style Editor at Large Mobolaji Dawodu kept Brown sort of warm in a magical adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott jacket that had insane fringe and was sometimes silver and sometimes gold depending on the light. We ate pizza for lunch per Danny’s request. Check out some behind the scenes action above and read Duncan Cooper’s feature story on Danny here.

i knew i recognized him! i think it’s awesome rappers are being more open about their sexuality , he makes really good raps. we walked in on him at “club 82″ in east village while he was “talking” with someone and he wasn’t even agree when they were done we apologized and he was cool about it, didn’t freak out and get violent, that’s rare in a rap singer.
