Trackstar the DJ's new career retrospective mix, Out of the Darkness, collects 50 tracks from the team's production discography. Hosted by the Dungeon Family's resident narrator, Big Rube, everyone from TLC to Cool Breeze is represented. For the uninitiated, it's an introduction that perfectly captures the team's sonic diversity, and for the devoted, it's a reminder of how integral the group's sound was to the fabric of hip-hop, Southern or otherwise.
