Brooklyn duo Teengirl Fantasy’s original "Motif" single sloshes its way through a dizzying number of keyboard sounds, presumably all created by Yamaha's Motif line of synthesizer workstations. Actress' new remix, on the other hand, to be featured on the single's upcoming release, skips the sound-tour for hyper-focused gauzy techno, carefully shifting the deep rhythm's minutiae for nearly seven minutes. "Motif" comes out June 25th via R&S, and Teengirl's new LP, Tracer, arrives via R&S and True Panther on August 21st.
