Angel-voiced New York singer BOY/FRIEND released his excellent free R&B EP, Leather Weather, back in April. Now he's gotten together a globe-spanning crew of friends (among them New York's Brenmar, Chile's Daniel Klauser, Lithuania's Fingalick, Canada's Kuhrye-OO) who turn in juiced-up dance mixes of the bedroom-cozy originals. Pay special attention to Brenmar's adrenalized take on the languid title track and the two, wonderfully diverging takes on "No Habla" from Slava and New York's Mess Kid. The latter version shows up in the EP's flirty-eyed trailer, which is hanging out below the download.
