FADER PREMIERE

Sheffield five-piece Blessa’s great debut single "Between Times" works a sad, jangling sound that's also been done very well recently by Fear of Men, though I'm perfectly happy to wallow in more of it. The video borrows footage from Godard's iconic film Masculin féminin, which, like the C86-y territory in which they're treading, is ever-deserving of reappraisal. It's just a really solid track for that time when more leaves have fallen than are staying on the trees. "Between Times" comes out November 11th via No Self, with vinyl up for preorder now.
