"BREAKING NEWS! IT'S OFFICIAL! 1ST TIME EVER! BRAND NEW," wrote Busta Rhymes, breaking the news via caps locked tweet that he and Q-Tip have a collaborative mixtape project in the works. The tape, called The Abstract & The Dragon, is due out December 12th, and it should be interesting at least for its pedigree. This may explain Busta's presence during A Tribe Call Quest's opening set at Barclays last night; likewise "Thank You," that disco-sampling track they released out of the blue a few weeks back (it also features Kanye West and Lil Wayne, though mostly just as hype men).
