Last night New York rapper L1ef made his national television debut on the Late Show with David Letterman (which, median viewer age: 59-years old). In a full Hood By Air look, he performed "Wut" -- that tangled, double-time verse and all -- with a flank of dancers and a backing band that included Dev Hynes. "Wut" first appeared on 2012's Dark York, but it's been cleaned up and reprised for his recent Hey EP, which is out now Terrible/XL.
thank you so much to @Letterman for inviting me to perform on his stage as a musician and not as a spectacle. that's major.— Le1f ☥ (@LE1FNY) March 14, 2014
