FADER PREMIERE

"Sweet Tooth," the last single from London producer Throwing Shade, tickled the pop part of my brain back in April but on new 12" "Chancer" /" Blanx" she does a U-turn and skips the niceties in favor of vibrations from the heart of the dancefloor. "Chancer" sends chilling synth lines and an inquisitive vocal sample tiptoeing across a skittering drum beat, while "Blanx" wades into deeper, chime-lit territory. Plus, there's a remix of "Chancer" from Bristol producer Kowton that ups the cowbell-flecked techno quota. New-ish UK label Happy Skull will release Throwing Snow's "Chancer" / "Bland" 12" in July but you can dig into the release in full below now.
