Watch Movement’s Striking, Very NSFW “Ivory” Video

See the trippy and erotic clip for the Sydney trio’s swampy song.

At the tail end of last week, Australian three-piece Movement released an erotically-charged video for "Ivory," a lustful, atmospheric track from their May-released self-titled EP. Directed by M83 collaborators Fleur & Manu, the clip opens on two French-speaking lovers. Their pre-coital conversation doesn't make a lot of sense, and neither does the trippy, non-linear, severely French-seeming video that follows it. The directorial duo experiment with color and space— tangled limbs, swirling paint, the illusion that time has stopped entirely—to demonstrate the kind of perspective-shifting, solipsistic, out-of-body feelings a certain kind of sexual encounter can trigger. The Movement EP is out now on Modular.
