The second half of 2014 just might be Jeremih's time. The singer just dropped his much anticipated collaborative EP with the producer Shlohmo, and tonight he releases No On My Album, a collection of tracks left off his upcoming full-length, as the name succinctly implies. "Wake Up" is the kind of 3AM music that Jeremih did so well back on his 2012 mixtape Late Night with Jeremih, and he's bent on capturing that same deep purple vibe throughout his album. A sly sample of Aaliyah's "4 Page Letter" ensures "Wake Up" could be a staple on any R&B station no matter the decade, even if it didn't make the tracklist.
