Young Jeezy Arrested on Gun Charge Following Fatal Backstage Shooting

The good news? His long-awaited new album is now streaming on iTunes, a week ahead of its hard fought for official release date.

Uh oh. Jeezy (legal name: Jay Jenkins) is being held on $1 million dollar bail after being arrested Sunday on suspicion of possession of an assault rifle, TMZ reports. The Atlanta rapper was touring with Wiz Khalifa's Under The Influence, and the weapon turned up on his bus during a search executed on warrant following Friday night's fatal backstage shooting in Mountain View, CA. Police have also arrested five others on similar charges, but say they have not made any arrests for the homicide yet.

While the tangle -- his second of the year -- caused Jeezy to miss the final night of the tour, it doesn't seem to be having any effect on his current album release cycle. Maybe it's even sped things up? Because his new album Seen It All is now up and streaming on iTunes a week ahead of its hard fought for official release date. The 15-song effort (counting the Deluxe Edition bonus tracks) is laced with a serious guest list that includes Future, Lil Boosie, Rick Ross, The Game, Akon, T.I., YG, Future, and Jay Z, who is featured on the title track. Head to iTunes to listen or to pre-order the album.
