Kendrick Lamar is being accused of stealing another musician's creation for his own song. Musicians Eric Reed and Willie Johnson alleged that the star infringed on their 2010 song, “The Thorn,” for Lamar's track “Rigarmortis,” TMZ reports. According to the $1 million lawsuit, Reed and Willie contended that Lamar lifted their music and wrote his own lyrics: "'The Thorn' isn't merely part of 'Rigamortis'... IT IS 'Rigamortis.'" Lamar isn't the only hip-hop artist in recent days to be embroiled over a song-stealing controversy; just last week, it was reported that a New York musician sued Jay Z, Kanye West and Frank Ocean for $3 million, claiming that the three artists cribbed music from him for “Made in America." Check out Lamar's "Rigamortis" and Willie Johnson's “The Thorn” below for a side-by-side comparison.
