Rome Fortune Digs Out the Mud in “One Time For”

Walk along for Rome Fortune’s flower-child afternoon in his latest clip.

September 24, 2014

Rome Fortune was one of the earlier names getting nods in Atlanta for making the center a bit weirder: when he linked up with Dun Deal (of "Stoner" and "Hannah Montana" fame) for Drive, Thighs & Lies, it featured formless beats suspended a thousand feet in the air and verses that unrolled slowly but surely. Today's video for "One Time For" prods at format norms the same way: instagram screenshots flash like "censored" bars, and scenes from a festival crack open the clip with cameos from producer Four Tet, Jacques Greene, and iLoveMakonnen, and lots of other flower children. Rome is currently on tour with Glass Animals, and his upcoming project Small VVorld is coming very soon.
