The places where formative experiences with music occur are often very special, but there’s nothing really like the euphoria (or melancholy) of an amazing club space. Something about the way the memories burn into you is just different, maybe touching a different part of your psyche. Birmingham, UK, duo Ekkah’s nostalgic, slow-burning disco track “Last Chance To Dance” is an ode to one of these spaces. “A few years ago we used to go to this club in Birmingham every week with our friends and have the best nights," the pair told The FADER. "That's what 'Last Chance To Dance' is about, the realization that it's coming to end of the night and nothing or no one is going to stand in the way of our last chance to dance." Although they only give a few details, if you’ve had any kind of similar experience, you know what exactly what they mean. Take a listen to the track below and be on the lookout for the Last Chance To Dance EP's November 24th release on Year One Records.
