BADBADNOTGOOD’s New LP Will Feature Ghostface Killah On Every Song

More riffs! More fish!

October 17, 2014

Toronto outfit BADBADNOTGOOD made their name covering gritty hip-hop—namely Tyler, the Creator and his early pastel chords—in gray-tone shades of jazz. So it's fitting they've enlisted the husky, battle-scarred voice of the legendary Ghostface Killah as their latest instrument. Sour Soul is their upcoming Lex Records release featuring Ghostface rattling bars on every track, with instrumentation retro-engineering the '60s and '70s soul records that built the original Wu sound. Today, they launch the Frank Dukes-produced album with the premiere of "Gunshowers," where Ghost and Elzhi spit over BBNG's gritty funk licks. Sour Soul drops February 17th.
