T-Pain Can Really Sing Without AutoTune

T-Pain continues destroying the myth that AutoTune is simply a crutch for non-singers with a new edition of NPR's Tiny Desk Concert, for which he performed flawless, un-treated versions of "Buy U A Drank," "Up Down," and "Drankin Patna." "People felt like I was using [AutoTune] to sound good," T-Pain told NPR. "But I was just using it to sound different." Related: T-Pain's criminally overlooked country cover of Lorde's "Royals," which uses AutoTune, and the still-perfect chorus of "I'm Sprung," which is all natural.
