See Warpaint Bring Out Kurt Vile To Play “Baby”

A sweet song just became an even sweeter duet.

Warpaint's "Baby," from their 2010 debut The Fool, is a timeless song that usually forms a staple of their live sets, swilling as it does around the mantra of possessive, unshakeable love: don't you call anybody else baby / 'cause I'm your baby, still. This past Friday at the Echoplex, as part of Red Bull Sound Select's 30 Days in LA, the LA four-piece brought out singer-songwriter Kurt Vile to get in on the tragic vibes. In this case two voices are definitely better than one, as the ex-War On Drugs member adds delicious shadows to Emily Kokal's vocal and a stormy guitar solo to bring things to a close. Watch it above.
