Boston's Bia supposedly caught Pharrell and Star-Trak OG Fam-Lay's ear during a late-night chance meeting. Today, the rapper delivers Chola Season, with half the tracklist produced by Pharrell in full Skateboard mode: trashcan-banging drums and discordant synths abound. "Chain Swang" is so true to form it might have been excavated from an '02 Clipse session, but P's guest verse smirks at his contemporary incarnation: Sometimes I wear Uggs, Kanye shrugs.
