Young Thug is 22 years old, so this behind-the-scenes video of a 19-year-old Thugger on the "This Is My Life" video shoot is from three years ago. The wonders of math! It's making the rounds today, though, because the interview portion of the video shows the FADER cover star sort of predicting his current alignment with Cash Money. The clairvoyant portion of the interview starts at 3:28, when the interviewer asks Thug what he has in the works. "Wayne. Young Money. I'm workin' with them." "You are?" the interviewer asks with a hint of surprise. "No," he replies. The interviewer then asks if he wants to or is going to, and he says, "Young Money. I'm coming." Since Young Money is (for now) under the Cash Money umbrella, clearly Thug was on some The Secret shit when he gave this interview, seriously. Watch it above (via FACT).
This isn't the only time pre-Cash Money Thug sagely referenced his current squad HQ: on "Above Dem Niggas," from the I Came From Nothing 2 mixtape, he rapped, And I ain't Young Money but I'm above you niggas. Check out that song below.
