Listen To A Genre-Hopping Mixtape From A Producer That Doesn’t Exist

Will the real Josh Pan please stand up.

The anonymous nature of the internet means that your favorite SoundCloud producer could be anyone. Maybe an old friend, or your next door neighbor. Or, like Josh Pan, they might not even actually exist. Having earned a Skrillex cosign with debut EP Pandora's Box, Pan made the surprise announce earlier this month on Twitter that he was not in fact a person—instead "he" was actually "comprised of a team of 20 people." That team apparently includes graphic designers, publicists, and some of the best rising electronic producers including DC-based Manila Killa and beatmaker Cavalier. Now the crew are playing up to hoax with a new, Drake-referencing mixtape called If You're Reading This You're Josh Pan. 17 tracks deep, it boasts genre-hopping and rap a capellas for days. Have a listen below.
