Denver indie-pop duo Tennis' latest album, Ritual in Repeat, may have been their strongest effort yet—and their ever-improving songwriting is highlighted in this special performance of "Needle and a Knife," featuring heavenly backing vocals and pink soft-focus lighting to set the mood appropriately. "The idea for this live video developed out of my obsession with Petra Collins' photography," vocalist Alaina Moore told FADER in an email. "Her work is impertinent, forceful and above all feminine. Forty bucks and several trips to Party City was all I needed to turn my living room into a pink hell which doubled as the perfect setting for a live performance of 'Needle And A Knife.' I loved making this, and am extremely thankful for our friends who volunteered their time to help me pull it off."
