Rich Homie Quan Speaks On Miami Night Club Incident

And explains the speedboat getaway—sort of.

April 02, 2015

Rich Homie Quan has spoken up about the altercation he was allegedly involved in outside of Miami's Club LIV last week and the speedboat getaway that wasn't quite. In a statement issued to Billboard, the "Walk Thru" rapper proclaimed his innocence but demurred from saying more: "With respect to the questions concerning the incident with the security guard, I am innocent of the accusations he has made against me. However, I am not at liberty to expand further at this time because the investigation into the events of that day is ongoing."

He was a little looser, however, in discussing the incident when greeted by TMZ at the airport earlier this week. Of his supposed maritime escape, he explains: "I stayed on the boat. I don't know what transpired within that moment and act—I hopped back on the boat and we just pulled off." So there you have it, not exactly 007-style.
