Wes Period Premieres His Befittingly Bubbly “Champagne Champion”

Los Angeles' Wes Period's "Champaign Champion" is an a bright and befittingly bubbly toast to the upswing his life has taken in recent times. But at the time of writing, the high life he raps about here was still but a dream, he says. "Writing this song was a big turning point for my confidence as an artist and also for my career," he wrote in an email to The FADER. "I used it as a vehicle for positive affirmation and it worked. I had never flown first class before this song was written. Since then, I've been in the big seats at the front of the plane multiple times!"
