Jay Z's streaming service Tidal isn't losing Beyoncé's catalogue just yet. Despite a recently spread article suggesting otherwise, Sony is still in negotiation with Tidal over its streaming license and the company's CEO has just spoken out in support of Jay Z. "Jay Z is a friend and business associate for many years," Doug Morris told Billboard. "I have always admired his business acumen, his entrepreneurship and his passion for music. All of our content, including Beyonce, is available through the Tidal service, and we have announced no plans to remove our catalog from Tidal. Like all of our other partners, we are rooting for Jay and Tidal to succeed." Obviously, Tidal will be much more likely to do that with Bey's catalog, especially since their main selling point artist exclusives have been quickly popping up online, authorized and unauthorized.
