Tyga’s saga with Cash Money has sometimes been overshadowed by the label’s dispute with other rappers, but it’s been going on for a while now. In January, the MC announced that he was “still fightin with Label” about a release date for The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. Then in a February interview with New York’s Hot 97, the rapper declared his intention to get "out the deal” with Cash Money, which might in theory free him to release the new material. Almost exactly 4 months later, Tyga announced on Twitter with no warning that his full-length is finally up for streaming via Spotify. Lil Wayne and Boosie show up for features, but it's mostly Tyga-centric, especially when you compare it to his last solo release, Hotel California. Listen below.
