When Fetty Wap stopped by Ebro In The Morning last month, he explained his process in the studio. "I learned my work ethic from [Gucci Mane],” he said. “When I go into the studio I don’t leave until I make at least 20, 30 songs. Full songs. Verse hook verse. Next song. Verse hook verse. So it’s no surprise that these songs keep hitting the internet. The latest is “D.A.M. (Dats All Me).” After showing off his tough raps on “Boomin,” Fetty is back in warped crooner mode here. “D.A.M.” has melodic elements that listeners will recognize from the hit “My Way,” and lyrics that channel the MC’s “679” verse: “you are so damn fine!”
