The let out after The Internet's midnight album release concert in Brooklyn on Tuesday was chill enough that security only asked kids to clear the block once, before bumming a cig and joining the fun themselves. Syd Tha Kid and Matt Martians played their eclectic new soul LP, Ego Death, in full for the first time, drawing a wall-to-wall crowd of day-one fans, curious newcomers, and industry homies. It's no surprise that the styles we spotted were wily and unpredictable: hand-painted boots, sunburst prints, and can't-miss add-ons made this one of the coolest-looking crowds we'd slacked around with this summer.
