Chance The Rapper and Kanye West have been trading admiring remarks for months now. During a Harvard lecture this spring, Chance declared, "I just respect the fuck out of him." Kanye later showed up at an event Chance hosted called "Open Mike." Most recently, Kanye called Chance "one of the most talented young new artists."

Today Chance announced the two artists have channeled that mutual admiration into collaboration. "We started working recently and have a lot of cool ideas brewing," the MC said on Windy City LIVE! "Me and Kanye and a lot of Chicago artists and a lot of dope artists are working on a collaborative effort that will be released tentatively."

The rapper later performed "Sunday Candy" and "Paranoia" on the show. Revisit FADER's cover story on Chance and the Social Experiment.
