Drake Played A New Song At His Barber’s Wedding

It might just be a remix to D.R.A.M.’s “Cha Cha”

Not long after Beyoncé announced her love for D.R.A.M.’s “Cha Cha” on Instagram, an incomplete version of the Drake/Beyoncé collaboration “Can I” leaked. To pay homage and prolong his tangential association with the two stars, D.R.A.M. quickly added his own verse to “Can I” and put it out.

Now there’s speculation that Drake is returning the favor by adding “Cha Cha” to the lengthy list of songs that he’s remixed—a group of tracks that includes Future’s “Tony Montana,” Migos’ “Versace,” iLoveMakonnen’s “Tuesday,” Fetty Wap’s “My Way,” and Ramriddlz “Sweeterman.” A video surfaced today from Drake’s barber’s wedding, which took place over the weekend. The clip is short and hard to hear, but the cheerful riff running through back of the track could be similar to the “Cha Cha” melody, and at the very end of the video, Drake’s voice imitates D.R.A.M.'s jump: “I like to Cha Cha!”

Whatever it is, it’s a safe bet that Drake will play it on Beats 1 Radio at some point.
