salute might style his name as lower-case, but everything about his new tune "VXV" is all-caps. Bright, bold and dazzlingly intricate, "VXV" is the b-side to the 19-year-old Brighton producer's debut single "Castle (Magic)" for 37 Adventures, due out on September 4.

"After having made a series of relatively mellow tracks, I wanted to write something that sounded big but didn't feel like a typical 'future bass'—or whatever—club track," salute told The FADER over email. "'VXV' is heavily influenced by the type of stuff HudMo and Rustie were putting out years ago—rough, heavy and melodic dance music. It feels really good to finally put this track out there." Listen below, and watch out for the blast of sunshine that hits when that way you do sample chimes in.
