Today Chicago singer Via Rosa and producer Na’el Shehade (whose credits include: Chance The Rapper, Chief Keef, Jean Deaux) emerge as DRAMA, a "dark and passionate musical collaboration," per their Twitter bio. Their first song as a duo is a warm and echoey, house-inflected dance number called "Hope's Up."

"The way this song came together was pretty amazing to be honest," Na'el Shehade gushed in an email to The FADER about the song's creation. "Via basically wrote exactly what I was going through at that time but from a female perspective, and it just really resonates that we were both able to find that common emotion to vibe on for this one, it's a pretty deep cut." Indeed.
