We are fast approaching high Yeezy Season, but Bay rapper Gerald Earl Gillum—aka beautifully coiffed Bay rapper G-Eazy—is out here forecasting Eazy Season. In the run-up to his next album, he'll be releasing a batch of free content—including the prickly, Vinylz-produced one-off "Say So." Within, G shakes of the pretty boy preconceptions that haunt him and claims next: The whole Bay knows I'ma be the next to win/ Real ones only standing next to him/ Doubt it, guess again/ 40 is like my uncle, HBK is my next of kin.
"Man," G recalled in a note to The FADER, "I was in a session with Vinylz in N.Y.C. and he just kept playing banger after banger after banger, not one filler. This one was one of the first ones he played and we just cut it on the spot. That's how I was feeling."
