When Rihanna hopped off the plane at Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris today, she was swathed in lengths of cozy black. Her baggy sweatpants pooled about her ankles and the sleeves of her hoodie dangled past her fingertips. Some people threw shade, but anyone who gets it knows: Rihanna fucks with Vetements, the buzzy French cult brand blowing up Paris' fashion scene.
The coveted Rih cosign landed coincidentally on the same day as the brand's spring presentation. Let us walk you through Vetements big day: from the excitement of the early morning to the final walk.

Later that evening, the brand hosted their show at the restaurant Le President in Paris

The show itself was packed—with seats nestled into every corner of the restaurant
Though all eyes were on Kanye West, who was seated firmly in the front row (also Travi$ was there)
And Le President turned out to be a very apt location:

As for the show itself, there were riffs on the Vetements signature—the hoodie
Along with an array of leather offerings
Which accompanied a showcase of the brand's softer, more floral side
The models wore high boots we could definitely see Rih rocking
Overall, the show was a brilliant mix of high and low materials and aesthetics
It was colorful and playful but cohesive; and most importantly, never boring
