Jaylien’s Ode To Paris Fashion Week Is A Perfect Song For The Radio

Jaylien went to Paris and fell in love. Not traditional, romantic love with another person, but with the city itself—so much so that he wrote an entire song about it. "Hotel Costes," a glossy, designed-for-the-radio tune whose video is premiering on The FADER today, is an ode to the eight days he spent cavorting through Pa-ree. His flows on the track are all soft and malleable, riding a cavernous bassline here, and bouncing over a piano house riff there.

Here's how he described the track to The FADER in an email: "I went to Paris in March for Paris Fashion Week. It was my first time and the greatest 8 days of my life. In between each show, before every after party, everyone would meet up at Hotel Costes. It's like the playground for the cool. When I left Paris i wanted to make a song about how it felt to be there. This song is the soundtrack to my Paris experience."
