Kanye West Auditioned For American Idol

Kanye West isn't your average rapper. Earlier today, he performed 18 songs at the Democratic National Committee fundraiser, but that didn't stop him from swinging by American Idol for a surprise audition in San Francisco. The rapper graced the judges with an original performance of "Gold Digger," and Jennifer Lopez was really into it.

We're not sure how Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban reacted, but here's to hoping that more footage of the audition surfaces in the upcoming season.
